A special request for our family and friends.

Thank you for being such an important part of our wedding day - our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for all your efforts.

To help make our wedding day a very special one, we ask these special requests:

We've hired a professional photographer to take our wedding photographs. For them to turn out as exceptionally beautiful, we ask you please , DON'T TAKE PICTURES OR VIDEOS AT ALL in the room where our formal portrait session is taking place.

It is OK to take pictures or videos during the ceremony and at reception. Here are the reasons for this.

1. Cameras attract people's attention, and group photos look bad when the subjects each look at a different camera. When everyone's eyes look in different directions , the photo is ruined.

2. People blink more in a "press conference" atmosphere, with flashes going off, cameras clicking and lights blinking on video cameras. We don't want these blinks in our wedding portraits!

3. Our photographer uses multiple lights. This Technique creates portraits that look almost "3-D" with detailed. lifelike texture and color. The lights are tripped by electronic sensors: your flashes will trip these lights, underexposing the photographs we're counting on, and overexposing your pictures.

4. When you use your camera during the formal session in the same room as the photographer, it takes precious time that we just can't spare on this most important and busy day.

5. It's almost impossible for the photographer to maintain rapport with his subjects when people are snapping photos over his shoulder. It's a trial to keep their attention and get a pleasant expression if others are trying to get their shots between the professional exposers that we paid for.

IT'S OK WITH US to take snapshots and videos anywhere that our photographer is not working. For example, if our photographer is creating portraits in the dressing room, you may line up group shots in the sanctuary - or vice versa.

PLEASE NOTE - Take all the pictures you want during the ceremony and reception. This should give you plenty of delightful snapshots and videos!
